THE CONTENT
- Our interconnected Omni Tales are chock full of interactive content that gets kids excited about reading. Digital books include links to applicable extras such as videos, audios, and graphics that make the words come alive
- Our tactile books include physical items, taken straight from the story—many of which are slipped between the book pages
THE LESSONS
- Students and lesson leaders (parents, guardians) learn by doing what is depicted in the story, tackling math, history, critical thinking et cetera in the process
- Activities involve making things, helping with household chores in fun whimsical ways, honing practical skills, and movement
THE EXPERIENCE
- Each reader will likely find at least one character in the story to connect with, often a character their age. By having multiple people in the group or family read the same book, they benefit from a shared experience and can bond over discussions of the scenes and action depicted
- Scholastic activities are assigned per age range, with many communal activities adapted for different levels so all may participate together
- Each participant has the opportunity to experience something the others don't, based on the character they connect with or the activities assigned to their age range. This creates curiosity and connection with other readers who can fill in the blanks of what that participant (or character) experienced outside the scope of the main story
- The combination of joint and individual activities makes participants feel both included and special. Frankly, this is the magic of the method
